  I had found a few items online, and decided to check them out in the store. I have been to other Maurice stores, but never to this one. I am a mom with small children, so getting out to enjoy a nice shopping experience is far and few between. The minute I walked into the store, a young lady was on me. I am expecting a nice welcome, etc., but this was a very rehearsed convo. I knew right away all of the tactics that she was going to try. She walked away and I picked up a tank top and sweater. Within seconds she happened to be walking by me looking busy, and commented on how I am picking up such cute items. It was a plain tank top and a plain sweater. Obviously not high on the cute scale. A few minutes later she returned with a scarf - which did not match the sweater or tank, and then she felt funny because she came running over like she found the best accessory. I once again told her I was just shopping and was not going to be long. Another moment, and she was back with something else to show me & commenting on my items (still same tank and sweater). I have worked retail and realize how some companies push you, but this is ridiculous! I wanted a peaceful shopping experience. If I want help, I will ask! I finally placed my items on a random rack (sorry!) and exited before the sales lady returned. You lost my business at that store. What a shame, since it is so close to my house.
